Lovely Rhodes getaway 🌴

Location is spot on for exploring both old and new parts of the city. The staff were super friendly and made us feel so at home. Found Rania at reception to be best ever, always smiling and ready to help. always had a lekker time relaxing by the pool, despite it being a bit on the chilly side.

The food could get a bit repetitive, especially after a few days. felt like we were eating the same meals quite a lot.

I booked a last-minute stay at Castellum and was pleasantly surprised. The warm welcome set a positive tone right away. I was shown to a spacious suite with a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying the evening air. The tropical shower in the bathroom felt luxurious with ample space for my toiletries. While the room was clean and comfortable, I found it a bit on the smaller side. The staff at the restaurant were efficient, always quick to serve and helpful. They even allowed me to take drinks to my room, which added convenience. The walk to the Old Town took just about 10 minutes, making it easy to explore. On the downside, I did notice that the pool area was somewhat crowded with limited sun loungers available. The food variety was good, particularly for breakfast and lunch, but dinner options could use some enhancement, especially with dietary restrictions. Despite these minor hiccups, I truly appreciated the atmosphere and hospitality. Rania, Yannis, and Matina stood out with their professionalism and made me feel at home. I'd definitely return to Castellum for another visit.

perfect base for exploring rhodes city and its historic treasures

I had a fantastic time wandering around all the nearby sights, from the impressive fortifications of rhodes just a short walk away to the quaint clock tower only about a kilometer from the hotel. with such great accessibility to cafes like moka bakery and wider spots like the street of the knights, i never ran out of things to do or places to eat during my stay.

We faced significant discomfort with no closets or storage space in our executive suite, leaving us with piles of clothes throughout our stay. The constant smoke from guests on neighboring balconies infiltrated our room, making it less enjoyable. The bar staff's lack of professionalism during chaotic situations left us feeling unsafe and dissatisfied with the overall atmosphere.

The location is perfect for exploring nearby historical sites and the bus station for day trips is super handy. The staff really goes above and beyond, especially Rania at the reception. The food options are delicious and there's a nice variety!

The pool area could use more sunbeds , as it often felt crowded.
